ARTISTIC BIOGRAPHY

Of predominantly Asian and European descent, he was influenced by art from preschool, where he developed his first artistic skills. Under the Waldorf teaching method, he cultivated a keen eye for visual perception, creativity, and the nuances of the world around him.

As the son of a designer and a professional seamstress, Rafael's was immersed in the worlds of fashion and art. He actively participated in the creation of costumes and accessories for a local carnival samba school, honed his tailoring skills, and even ventured into theater, performing in school plays.

Still in his adolescence, he explored the world of urban graffiti, an artistic expression that uses painting techniques to create drawings and compositions in public spaces. At the same age of 12, he developed his first personal project, which aimed to customize clothes with hand-painted graffiti.

At fifteen, he traveled to Japan to live with his father. As a young enthusiast of R&B music at the time, he joined a breakdancing school, a sport included in the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he remained active for a year and participated in events. He lived in Japan for almost 10 years, during which he worked as an industrial production coordinator.

He returned to Brazil in 2010 and soon enrolled in a Production Engineering degree. During college, he interned in the process engineering area of a multinational company and also expanded his experience as a designer, working with 2D and 3D software development tools at another company.

In 2017, he decided to drop out of college in his seventh semester to focus on personal projects aimed at climbing towards entrepreneurship, and since then has worked as a project manager in the areas of Fashion, Art, Quantum Trading, and Software Development.

In the fashion segment, he holds a certification in Management of Fashion and Luxury Companies from Bocconi University, Milan. He is the designer and manager of the PAPILLON'S project, a brand represented by flowers and butterflies as symbols of transformation, freedom, and beauty. Furthermore, in 2024, he expanded into the digital world by creating STUDIO FLIPBOOK, an optimized digital magazine focused on entertainment.

With roots in European Catholics who came to Brazil in the early 20th century, he is a Christian and art lover, with a certain appreciation for the Renaissance. As a visual artist, he created in 2024 sacred art works inspired by biblical stories told in Christianity, with the theme:

"Raphael, the Archangel".
